Who We Are

CEO, David Michalski, was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended James Madison University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics. After graduating in 1980, David decided to pursue a career in real estate with hopes of fulfilling his own entrepreneurial ambitions. He started Fairfax Realty in 1989, creating a unique brokerage where he pioneered the 100% low fee business model which allowed agents to maximize their potential for success by dramatically increasing their commission split. After reaching a sales volume of $1.61 billion, Fairfax Realty was recognized as one of the Top 10 Real Estate Companies by the Washington Business Journal. Today, David owns 8 offices with over 1800 professional Realtors throughout the Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland area. Fairfax Realty Select is headquartered in Falls Church, VA with its affiliated settlement company Realty Title Services. David is committed to providing his agents with world-class training and support so that they can better serve their clients.
